
What Is A Disc Wood Chipper?
Disc wood chippers are usually called disc chippers or disc slicers. They are special equipment for preparing high-quality wood chips. Working principle of Disc Wood Chipper
The disc chipper is mainly composed of a base, a main machine, a coupling, a chassis, and a motor. Feeding makes the disc chipper strong and wear-resistant. Working principle of disc chipper:
The wood is fed in from the feed port. When the wood contacts the cutting blade, it is cut with the high-speed rotation of the cutting disc. The cutting mechanism is a rotating drum with several flying knives installed on it. When the flying knives rotate, the wood is processed into wood chips. There are multiple square through holes on the outer edge of the drum. The qualified flakes cut down fall through the mesh holes and are discharged from the bottom. The large flakes will be cut again in the machine.

Disc chipper maintenance:
1. The bearing seat should be greased and replaced once a month. If it works continuously, it should be greased twice more. Pay attention to observation.
2. The tightness of the V-belt should be readjusted after a period of use. Press the middle of the belt with your fingers and it should drop 6 to 10mm.
3. After work every day, the machine should be cleaned and the parts should be checked for looseness to extend the service life. The power part should be maintained according to the power manual.
Working principle of disc chipper: the material enters the crushing chamber through the feed port, and is discharged from the machine after reaching the specified particle size under the horizontal and vertical bidirectional cutting force of the crushing rotor.
