Working Principle of comprehensive wood crusher

1. The conveyor helps to feed the raw materials into the machine more easily. The raw materials can be loaded onto the conveyor manually or placed on this conveyor using a wood grab/loader.

2. The feed roller is installed at the feed port and is controlled by the hydraulic system to move up and down to adjust the feeding capacity. When the raw material comes from the feed conveyor, the teeth on the feed roller swallow the raw material into the feed chute and send it to the knife roller.

3. The knife roller is installed in the center of the machine and rotates with the main motor. There is a cutting blade on the knife roller. There is a fixed lower blade on the frame of the biomass crusher. When the raw material comes to the knife roller, both the rotating blade and the lower blade cut it.

4. Equipped with a hydraulic oil station to control the feed roller so that it can lift the feed chute slightly to make it easier to enter larger-sized raw materials, and then the upper plate of the chute slowly falls to protect the feed roller.

5. The wood chips/EFB fibers will fall onto the screen and be discharged from the holes on the screen to the discharge conveyor.

6. The machine is equipped with a 12-meter-long discharge conveyor.

7. The biomass crusher is equipped with an electrical panel through which the start and stop of the main motor, feed roller motor, feed conveyor motor, discharge conveyor motor, and hydraulic system motor can be controlled.

Crushing methods of comprehensive wood crusher

Comprehensive crushers have a variety of crushing methods, mainly including extrusion, splitting, breaking, shearing, impact, or striking. These crushing methods are often mixed with multiple action modes to achieve the best crushing effect.

Extrusion crushing: The working surface of the crushing machine applies pressure to the material sandwiched between it. When the compressive stress on the material reaches its compressive strength limit, the material will be crushed.

Splitting and shearing crushing: The edge of the crushing working surface wedges into the material to generate tensile stress inside. When its value exceeds the tensile strength limit of the material, the material will split and produce powder locally at the contact point between the sharp edge and the material.
